Axios poll shows concrete AI use cases can shift US public trust
Axios reports that a Morning Consult poll of 1,522 US adults found overall trust in AI rose from 41 percent to 55 percent after respondents were shown five real world use cases in areas like veteran suicide prevention, fraud detection, early cancer diagnosis, hurricane forecasting and sepsis treatment. The survey, conducted September 15 to 16, suggests safety and life saving applications move attitudes more than abstract messaging.
