Sarvam AI targets $300m top up at $3b valuation

On October 13, 2026, Economic Times reported that Indian AI startup Sarvam AI is in talks to raise an additional $250–300 million at a valuation of about $3 billion. The round would roughly double Sarvam’s valuation just four months after it secured more than $300 million at a $1.5 billion valuation. The company builds Indian-language AI models and tools used by banks, insurers and the Maharashtra government.
