NEC and UNDP partner on AI to build nature positive resilience

On September 7, 2026, NEC and the United Nations Development Programme signed a memorandum of understanding in Tokyo to use AI and other digital tools to support nature positive and climate resilient development. The partnership will start with a joint white paper assessing the resilience of AI and digital infrastructure, including data centers and supply chains, using environmental data.
