S&P Global teams up with AWS to pipe trusted financial and energy data into AI agents

S&P Global announced new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integrations with Amazon Web Services’ Amazon Quick Suite, allowing customers to query S&P’s Capital IQ and energy datasets directly from AI agents running in their AWS environments. The partnership is meant to bring "agentic" AI workflows closer to mission‑critical market, financial and commodity intelligence, so institutional users can blend proprietary and S&P data inside generative‑AI systems while preserving enterprise security and compliance.
