Runable raises $21M Series A to grow AI agents for small business

Runable sits at the sharp end of the agent trend, turning what used to be a developer centric story into a full stack small business automation play. The company is not only promising to build websites and apps with an agent, it is promising to run ad campaigns, generate leads, handle outreach and keep iterating based on performance data. That is a direct shot at the long tail of agencies and SaaS tools serving very small businesses, and it tests whether non technical owners will trust an AI system with both their product and their revenue engine.

For the AGI race, this round is a datapoint on how quickly general purpose agents are climbing the stack from code editors into revenue critical workflows. Runable is explicitly abstracting away model choice and infra and selling “outcomes” instead of tokens or API calls. If this works, it strengthens the case that the winning labs will capture value not just through huge models, but through vertical systems that own customer acquisition, billing and execution.
