Adani urges India to build sovereign AI models and compute stack
Speaking at an AI center inauguration in Baramati on Dec. 29, 2025, industrialist Gautam Adani warned that AI is now a contest for global domination. He argued that India must build its own AI models, compute infrastructure and “intelligence ecosystem” to avoid having its markets and behavior shaped and monetized by foreign systems.
