Oracle debuts agentic AI builder for Fusion enterprise apps

Oracle is leaning hard into the idea that the enterprise application suite itself should be an agent platform. By letting both non‑technical users and pro‑code developers wire up teams of AI agents that act directly on Fusion business objects and workflows, Oracle is collapsing three layers – app, orchestration, and AI agents – into a single governed runtime. That’s a very different posture from bolting a copilot onto existing software.

If it works, this could significantly lower the friction for large enterprises to move from pilot agents to production‑grade, auditable automation. Because the agents inherit Fusion’s identity, approvals, logging and policy controls, Oracle can tell compliance teams a more reassuring story than a DIY stack built on generic LLM APIs. The partnerships and endorsements from Accenture, Deloitte and PwC suggest the big integrators see this as a billable migration path for their clients.

From a race‑to‑AGI perspective, this is less about raw capability than about distribution. Agentic systems that can reliably execute back-office processes at scale are a key step toward complex, multi‑step autonomy in real organizations.
