Job Description
Summer 2026 ML Engineer internship at Samsung Research America’s Digital Health Lab. You prototype and test recommendation and health-focused models, taking ideas through multiple fidelity levels and exposing them to users. Role is based in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize ML models for recommendation systems in digital health applications.
- Implement supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement, and deep learning approaches on health datasets.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets and develop algorithms for extracting insights.
- Debug and tune models using cloud-based services for better accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product stakeholders to align models with business needs.
