Responsibilities
- Own a research agenda to boost capability, reliability, or safety of deployed models
- Design and run experiments that change how models behave in the real world
- Build and maintain evals that track progress across releases
- Write, test, and debug code across OpenAI’s research stack
- Collaborate closely with other research and product teams to ship improvements into ChatGPT and the API
