Job Description

Research Scientist role on Meta’s MRS AI Knowledge team, which builds next‑generation recommendation and ranking systems across apps like Facebook, Instagram and Threads. Focus on large language models and generative AI for content understanding, retrieval and personalization. You drive state‑of‑the‑art research in large‑scale language modeling and bring those advances into production recommendation systems.

Responsibilities

• Advance state of the art in large language model research for Meta recommendation systems.
• Design experiments, write reusable research code, run evaluations and organize results.
• Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to bring new models into production ranking stacks.
• Contribute to publications and open‑sourcing efforts where appropriate.
• Focus on content and user understanding, retrieval and ranking across Meta’s apps.
