Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

Job Description

This role sits in IBM Consulting’s Client Innovation Center. You act as an associate data scientist delivering machine‑learning and generative‑AI solutions for external clients, from data prep through modeling and communication of results. Work is project‑based and tightly tied to IBM’s consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end data science projects: collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, modeling, and deployment.
• Implement and validate predictive and prescriptive models, including ML and NLP techniques.
• Develop generative‑AI and LLM‑based solutions, including RAG and code assistants.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and database teams in agile project squads.
• Communicate modeling approach and findings to client stakeholders.
• Document architectures, design decisions, and best‑practice guides.
