Job Description

Principal Data Scientist role at Presight (majority‑owned by G42), leading large language model and applied GenAI initiatives across sectors such as public safety, government, and enterprise analytics. The role mixes hands‑on modeling with strategy—shaping GenAI capabilities, delivering solutions on sovereign AI/cloud infrastructure, and mentoring other data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Presight’s GenAI and LLM strategy across multiple verticals, focusing on high‑impact public sector and enterprise use cases.
• Design, build, and evaluate advanced models (LLMs, retrieval‑augmented systems, multi‑modal models) for Presight’s omni‑analytics and public safety platforms.
• Work closely with data engineering and MLOps teams to ensure reliable, scalable deployment on sovereign cloud/HPC infrastructure.
• Partner with clients and internal product teams to translate domain problems into data science projects and measurable outcomes.
• Mentor data scientists and analysts, establish best practices, and contribute to hiring and capability building.
• Stay abreast of emerging GenAI technologies and integrate relevant advances into Presight’s offerings.
