Job Description
Machine Learning Engineer role in Microsoft AI (MAI) on the Copilot Growth team, focused on recommendation and personalization systems for Microsoft’s personal AI assistant. The role combines large‑scale model development, experimentation, and growth analytics to optimize engagement, retention, and personalized experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ML models for high‑throughput recommendation and personalized feed systems in Copilot.
- Leverage LLMs to improve content understanding, relevance ranking, and user modeling.
- Run A/B tests and other experiments to drive growth metrics such as activation, engagement, and retention.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, tooling, and infrastructure to support real‑time decisioning and personalization at scale.
- Mentor peers, contribute to technical design reviews, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.
- Stay current with advances in ML, recommendation systems, and LLM‑powered personalization.
