In Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, a two‑day regional workshop has opened to examine how artificial intelligence can be integrated into vocational training systems to improve skills, employability and business competitiveness across Africa. Organized by the national vocational training fund FDFP under the RAFPRO network, the event brings together policymakers and training institutions to discuss how AI can become a driver of inclusive, skills‑based growth rather than leaving African countries as mere technology consumers.
