Job Description

Senior individual-contributor role applying ML to electronic design automation (EDA), building production features that improve performance, power, and productivity in Synopsys’s chip-design tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities where ML can improve EDA workflows and tool performance.
• Design, implement, and evaluate ML models for tasks like placement, routing, or timing closure.
• Integrate ML components into existing C++/EDA codebases with attention to performance and robustness.
• Collaborate closely with product and application engineers to gather requirements and validate value.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for ML initiatives across the team.
