Software Engineer - AI Infrastructure

Job Description

Engineer on the Cortex AI Platform team owning large-scale infrastructure that powers Snowflake’s LLM workloads for both internal products and customer use-cases, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization of large language models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure for serving and managing large language models on Snowflake’s platform.
• Optimize compute, storage, and networking for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build internal tooling to monitor LLM performance, latency, and quality.
• Harden systems for security and compliance in enterprise environments.
• Participate in on-call and incident response for AI infrastructure services.
