Job Description
ML engineer role on OpenAI's Integrity team, building and deploying models to detect and mitigate abuse, financial fraud, and adversarial use of OpenAI products. The role focuses on fine‑tuning and operating LLMs and other ML systems in production to protect platform integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy production ML models to detect abuse and adversarial behavior on OpenAI platforms
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and PMs to translate integrity problems into ML solutions
- Build and optimize scalable data and training pipelines for LLMs
- Monitor and maintain deployed models, iterating based on adversarial trends and product feedback
- Contribute to engineering best practices via code reviews and technical leadership
