Job Description

Core ML research engineer role on Meta’s Search team, focused on advancing search and ranking models. The position combines applied ML research with building production systems: designing new modeling approaches, improving ranking relevance, and developing tools and infrastructure for large‑scale experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Design tools and methods to advance Meta search and ranking models.
• Build and deploy scalable ML models that directly impact Facebook Search quality.
• Collaborate with PMs and product engineers to define goals grounded in user needs and product metrics.
• Run large‑scale experiments (A/B tests), analyze results, and iterate on models.
• Contribute to the broader Core ML infrastructure used by adjacent product teams.
