Senior research engineer in Huawei Turkey R&D’s AI team, working on Petal Search. The role focuses on improving search results using machine learning and NLP, designing and deploying large‑scale ML services, and publishing high‑quality research in top conferences while maintaining production‑grade systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ML models to improve search relevance and ranking for Petal Search
- Develop scalable ML services and pipelines for online and offline experimentation
- Monitor model performance and iterate on features, data, and architectures
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to bring state‑of‑the‑art NLP and IR techniques into production
- Contribute to research outputs (papers, patents) in venues such as ACL, EMNLP, SIGIR, and CIKM
