Research Scientist role in Google Research focused on geospatial AI. Team builds high-resolution digital twins of transportation systems and ML-powered models for geospatial understanding, travel demand estimation, and road safety, supporting data-driven decision-making for policymakers.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and interpret ML experiments for geospatial and transportation modeling problems
- Develop models for geospatial understanding, OD demand estimation, and road safety analytics
- Collaborate with other Google Research teams and product groups on large-scale ML systems
- Publish in top conferences and help translate research advances into Google products
- Contribute to large-scale experimentation and evaluation pipelines
