Job Description

Senior Staff engineer in Google Cloud’s AI & Infrastructure org, responsible for developing next‑generation AI technologies for products like AI Search, specialized AI models, and the Vertex AI developer platform. The role focuses on designing scalable ML models and infrastructure that power generative AI and large‑scale model optimization for enterprise customers on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve ML infrastructure and platforms that power Google Cloud’s AI offerings, including generative‑AI services.
• Collaborate with product teams to build AI solutions that help enterprises transform operations using Google Cloud.
• Optimize large‑scale models and training/inference pipelines for efficiency, reliability, and cost.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for ML system design at hyperscale.
