Job Description
Senior Applied Scientist in Amazon Payment Products, building scalable ML and GenAI solutions for credit, risk, and customer experience in co-branded cards, installment financing, and related payment offerings.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy ML and GenAI models that impact payments for millions of customers
- Develop LLM-based systems for automation, anomaly detection, and customer-experience improvements
- Define research and experimentation strategy, iterating to improve results over time
- Partner with business and engineering teams to identify and tackle complex problems
- Mentor other scientists and influence technical strategy
