Job Description

Senior data scientist role on Cloudflare's security-focused ML team, developing and deploying large-scale models (including NLP and other ML techniques) to power products such as BotsML, WAF Attack Score, and Page Shield ML. The team builds models that must operate with high precision at massive internet scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models, including NLP approaches, for Cloudflare's security products
• Design models that can handle tens of millions of requests per second with high precision and low latency
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define metrics, data needs, and success criteria for ML features
• Analyze large internet traffic datasets to identify patterns of malicious or unwanted behavior
• Monitor model performance, retrain and iterate to adapt to evolving threats
• Contribute to internal tooling and best practices for ML at Cloudflare
