Research Scientist - AI Incubation

Job Description

Research Scientist on Zoom’s AI Incubation team conducting frontier research in LLM post-training, RLHF/DPO/RLAIF, federated AI, and multimodal reasoning to power Zoom AI Companion and federated AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in LLM post-training, RLHF, and federated AI for reasoning and personalization
• Develop evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for performance, safety, and UX
• Design and implement fine-tuning and RL pipelines across Zoom’s federated AI ecosystem
• Translate research prototypes into scalable, production-grade systems in partnership with infra and product teams
