Job Description
Senior applied ML/AI engineer on the AutoML and forecasting team, improving user-facing products that handle classification, regression, time-series forecasting, and recommendations. Role spans modeling, infra, and product work to make Databricks’ ML tooling more powerful and efficient for customers.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end ML features in collaboration with engineers and data scientists
- Design and deploy state-of-the-art ML/AI models for forecasting and related tasks
- Architect scalable ML infrastructure for training and serving ML models within Databricks
- Partner with product and other engineering teams to shape ML investment areas
- Contribute to the external ML community through open source or presentations where relevant
