Job Description
ByteDance’s Applied Machine Learning Enterprise team is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer focused on Large Language Models to help build a Model‑as‑a‑Service (MaaS) platform for enterprise customers. The team develops and operates full-stack LLM platforms covering algorithms, training/fine-tuning/inference frameworks, heterogeneous hardware, prompting, alignment, and intelligent agents for global customers outside mainland China.
Responsibilities
- Lead creation of next‑generation, high-capacity LLM platforms and products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement LLM-powered projects across domains and verticals
- Design and implement end‑to‑end solutions covering training, fine-tuning, inference and alignment of large models
- Contribute to intelligent agent systems and prompt engineering for enterprise use cases
- Maintain and improve platform performance, scalability and reliability
