Job Description
IBM is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop and maintain a hybrid AI platform supporting generative AI applications across multi-cloud and on-prem environments. The role focuses on agent development, prompt engineering and AI pipeline implementation in secure, governed environments as part of IBM’s watsonx and hybrid cloud strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a hybrid AI platform for generative AI workloads across cloud and on-prem
- Develop and optimize generative AI agents and associated prompt engineering patterns
- Implement and operate AI pipelines (data ingestion, training, inference, monitoring) under enterprise governance
- Collaborate with product, research and client engineering teams to deliver solutions for customers
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security and compliance requirements
