Job Description
Software Engineer role on Sierra’s Agent Engineering team, building production-grade AI customer-service agents for large enterprises and high-growth startups, with end-to-end ownership across the Agent Development Life Cycle and close collaboration with customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production AI agents that handle mission-critical customer workflows for enterprises and startups
- Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and iteration
- Work directly with customer leaders to understand business problems and turn them into robust AI agents
- Prototype new agent features and tools and feed learnings back into Sierra’s core platform
- Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to influence the roadmap and new agent architectures
- Continuously experiment with new voice and language models and integrate them at scale
